Marion, IL - Banterra Bank has launched a Community Food Drive that takes place companywide until December 31st. The food drive was initiated by Banterra employees and the company is extending an invitation to their customers and local residents to join the effort.
“Banterra supports charitable organizations in the communities we serve throughout the year,” said Jeff May, President for Banterra Bank. “But we are particularly reminded during the holiday season the need for food at our local food pantries, and I am pleased that our employees wanted to help meet that need.”
Non-perishable items may be donated at any Banterra branch location beginning today and throughout the holiday season. Internally, Banterra is promoting “Food Drive Fridays” to their employees, allowing staff to wear jeans on Fridays when they bring a food donation that week.

Marion, IL - Banterra Bank, with over $1.2 billion in assets and locations throughout the Midwest, is pleased to announce the opening of a loan production office in East Prairie, Missouri located at 1664 South Highway 102. East Prairie is located near Sikeston, Missouri, just 50 miles from Cape Girardeau and the loan office will primarily be focused on agriculture lending. Leading the effort in East Prairie will be Brad Keck, with 20+ combined years in the banking and agriculture industries.
“Banterra is a strong community bank with particular expertise and experience in agriculture lending,” said Ed Carroll, Market Executive for Banterra’s Cape Girardeau market. “Brad Keck is a true expert in the agriculture lending market and we’re fortunate to have Brad join our team and expend these services in Southeast Missouri.”
Brad Keck joins Banterra Bank as Senior Agriculture/Commercial Lender. In addition to Keck’s bank experience in agriculture lending, he also has served in the agriculture supplier market through equipment sales and other agriculture needs.
“Banterra’s foundation was built on agriculture lending, beginning in rural farm communities of Southern Illinois,” said Keck. “Today, Banterra is one of the largest community banks in the region, with an impressive growth trend. I am honored to join this team and expand the agriculture lending even further in Southeast Missouri.”
Keck most recently served as owner/president of Keck Acquisitions Inc. dba Keck Equipment Co. He built this business from the ground up, developing worldwide relationships through internet sales and marketing of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers. Keck has served as Loan/Lease Broker for Citizens Bank of Charleston, where he was responsible for setting up a loan office in East Prairie. Prior to that, Keck served more than six years as Senior Vice President at First Security State Bank in Charleston, Missouri, as well as controller at ADM-Growmark in Nashville, Illinois.
Keck, his wife Julie, and daughter Ali reside in East Prairie, a town where Keck was born and raised. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business (majoring in AgriBusiness) from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He also attended Graduate School of Banking at Louisana State University, Mid-South School of Banking in Memphis, Tennessee, and Missouri School of Lending in Columbia, Missouri.

Banterra Bank has opened new loan production office located at 9900 Clayton Road, Suite E, in Ladue, Missouri. Leading the effort for this new market is Robert Sellers, with 20+ years in the banking industry, and joining Sellers is Kevin Prunty as Senior Commercial Executive.

Robert Sellers joined Banterra Bank as Market Executive in April 2013. He brings strong financial experience in the St. Louis market, with previous positions at BMO Harris Bank, Bank of America, and UMB Bank. Joining Sellers is Kevin Prunty with almost 15 years financial experience to his team, most recently with Parkside Financial Bank & Trust.

What to expect with the Bill Pay Upgrade:
- All of your payees and any scheduled payments will carry over to the new system
- The eBills will not carry over from the old Bill Pay system, but may be set up within the new Bill Pay system.
- Bill Payments cannot be initiated, edited or canceled after 3 p.m. CST for a payment that is being processed that business day
- Refer to the Bill Pay Initial Login Instructions (Features and Functionality).
